About the event
Working with Brian, Ireland's last working master glove cutter, we'll spend the day showing you how to table cut and hand-sew leather gloves. Participants will learn how to prepare leather for cutting, how to table-cut tranks and thumbs and how to fit and sew a pair of gloves.
This is an introductory course, however, a reasonable standard of hand-sewing is required.
Materials and tools will be provided with one exception - you will need to bring a thimble that fits you.
